 Macro photography is highly rewarding,but it's not an easy genre. Now, I'm sure that you could make that same argument for any type of photography - but at the moment, I'm not. I'm only talking about macro. This is a type of photography where you go out in hot,humid conditions specifically in search of bugs. Or in search of flowers, or lizards, or whatever it is you photograph. And, once you've found them, you need to focus so precisely that your one- millimeter depth of field is perfectly on your subject's eye, or is at the perfect spot on a flower petal.
